The lawn handles it
We anchor with stakes where possible — small holes, no permanent damage. On hard surfaces or shallow roots we use ballast.
Consider flooring on soft lawns
After rain the lawn can get muddy. Plastic flooring (35 NOK/m²) gives a stable surface and protects both the lawn and party clothes.

Can you set up on asphalt or a courtyard?
Yes. When stakes aren't possible (asphalt, cobblestones, terrace), we anchor with ballast — large water-filled weights or concrete blocks. We bring whatever's needed.
What about the neighbours?
We set up discreetly and quickly (typically 1–2 hours for a garden tent). For late parties we recommend giving the neighbours a friendly heads-up.
