Terms and conditions

1. Booking and confirmation

A booking is binding once you receive confirmation from Bedre Teltutleie by email or phone. We confirm availability within 24 hours on business days.

2. Prices and payment

All prices include 25% Norwegian VAT (MVA) unless otherwise specified.

Private customers pay the invoice in advance by Vipps or bank transfer before delivery. Approved business customers receive an invoice with 14-day payment terms; the organisation number is provided at booking and a full VAT breakdown is shown on the invoice.

3. Rental period

All prices cover a rental period of up to 5 days — same price whether you rent for one day or five. Extended rentals add 50 % per started 5-day period beyond the first (6–10 days: +50 %, 11–15 days: +100 %, and so on). The surcharge applies to tent and equipment rental — setup and delivery are one-time fees and are not affected.

4. Delivery, setup and takedown

Delivery, setup and takedown are offered as add-on services and priced separately. Delivery is calculated from the actual driving distance from Trettebakken 1, 0755 Oslo, and covers handling, drive time, fuel and tolls. The exact total is shown in the order before it is confirmed. Automatic delivery pricing covers addresses within 50 km driving distance from our warehouse — for addresses outside this range we ask that you send a request for a separate quote.

For our largest tents (3×9 m and all 9 m wide tents), setup and takedown are always included — these are not delivered for self-assembly. Exact delivery time is agreed at least 3 days before the event. The customer is responsible for ensuring the site is prepared and accessible for setup at the agreed time.

5. Customer's responsibility

The customer is liable for damage to rented equipment beyond normal wear.

6. Cancellation

Cancellation up to 14 days before the event is free. Cancellation 7–14 days before incurs 50 % of the rental amount. Cancellation under 7 days before incurs the full amount.

7. Force majeure

Bedre Teltutleie is not liable for delays or failure to deliver due to circumstances beyond our control, including extreme weather, natural disasters or public orders.
